Our Freedom Rangers meat chickens are raised in John Suscovich-style pasture shelters which are moved daily to a fresh grass which keeps the chickens healthier and cleaner by eating fresh grass. Providing fresh water and grass makes tasty, nutrient-dense chicken! They are raised on our farm and processed by us on our farm with due care.
By processing ourselves at the farm we can make sure that technical details are attended properly and packed with good sanitation.
Last but not least, the ultimate benefit from our entire chicken operation is that you are served with an excellent quality of pasture-raised chicken that you can feel good about feeding your family with.
The Freedom Rangers are slow growers, they roam around in the farm freely within the net fence (to protect from predators) and hence they are harder meat when compared the the regular Cornish Cross chicken’s that we get in the grocery stores.
Please note this chicken needs extra few minutes of cooking. The chickens are weighed with skin, without skin option will loose few ounces.

I got to GJ farm chicken through our friend. Chicken was fresh and happy to get good quality chicken so I feed my kid without any hesitation. Most important their home delivery is helpful. If delivery is done in Saturday evening or Sunday early morning it would be more helpful to complete cooking on time

By far, the best fresh Oraganic country chicken out there in Raleigh Durham & Apex area ! I Chicken was so tender, fresh and soft. The freshness in the chicken is no match to any store bought frozen chicken.
I do not plan to buy chicken anywhere but GJ farms for all my future needs. Why not when someone truly cares to produce and supply the fresh organic chicken?
Also, thank you, G&J, for bringing our indian culture to process, burn, and clean the country chicken the way it is supposed to be. It was fresh, clean, and ready to be cooked. Takes me right back to my home town and the way my father used to process and prep the chicken.
